Temperatures could be hot, cool or even rainy, but the dancing will be under the roof. This is a beautiful, large pavilion with smooth "marble-like" floor. Casual dress is fine; sneakers or cushioned shoes might be better than ballroom shoes. Bring blankets or camp chairs if you can. Leave purses and valuables.
The picnic starts at 5:30 or whenever you choose. There will be a Tango Colorado outreach class before the milonga.
Lyft/Uber Directions:
The park roads are closed for the weekend, and parking nearby is possible but fairly tight. The address "1111 Race St, Denver, CO 80206" is for the benefit of Lyft/Uber drivers for drop-off or pick-up. This leaves you at the East entrance closest to the pavilion. You will have a 200 yard walk - just follow the music.
Alternative recommendation for the full videographic effect! Be dropped off on the West side at "1510 E 10th Ave, Denver, CO 80218", and walk across the park about 300 yards. King Soopers is a few blocks farther West between 9th & 10th.
